Greetings!

Kevin Swanson will be joining Mike Richardson August 22 and 23 in Guadalajara for a weekend homeschool conference. This is a wonderful opportunity for those wanting more information about homeschooling in Mexico.

Please keep Kevin and Mike in prayer as they each present four sessions. Pray for safety in travel for them and all the attendees. And pray for those who come to be encouraged and challenged by the messages. Thank you!

Todos están invitados a una conferencia para educadores en el hogar en Guadalajara este próximo fin de semana, el 22 y 23 de agosto de 2014.

El conferencista principal es Kevin Swanson, un buen amigo de Mike, que ha predicado en varias conferencias de El Hogar Educador en México a través de los años. Él va a hacer cuatro sesiones:

The Family Designed by God Conference in Chihuahua

Mike Richardson is on his way to another family conference, this one near Cuauhtémoc, Chihuahua. The conference is called God Designed the Family, and Mike will be joining other speakers to encourage attendees to be all God created them to be, not just as individuals, but also as a family!

Since Creation, Satan has attacked the family, and he will do so until our Savior returns. But we also have Jesus’ promise to be with us and His command to make disciples. So can we ask you to keep Mike and the other speakers in prayer, for safety in travel and wisdom in speaking? Would you pray for those attending, that they will have hearts and minds open to the Word of God and the power of the Holy Spirit?

Thank you so much for lifting up the ministry of the Richardsons and Vida Nueva Ministries. Your prayers and support are incredible gifts! May the Lord richly bless and keep you!

Conference in Monterrey

Every morning at 10:02 my phone alarms rings. It is set to remind me to pray what Jesus told us to pray in Luke 10:2: Then He said to them, “The harvest truly is great, but the laborers are few; therefore pray the Lord of the harvest to send out laborers into His harvest.” My heart and my soul longs to see this abundant crop of souls harvested. Mexico, my beloved country, is ripe and is ready; yet the laborers are but a few.

Satan loves to put obstacles and barriers in our paths to cause us to stumble-to make us less useful in the kingdom. His desire is to discourage us and to cause us to quit. Yet quit I will not! Every cell within my body cries out to know God and to see his mighty hand working in the hearts and lives of people!

This Saturday, July 12, 2014, I will be the keynote speaker in the Monterrey homeschool conference. Would you join me in praying that these meeting and that God’s word shared in them would be the preparation and the foundation for preparing many to reach the lost here in Mexico?

Would you also pray for my children and grandchildren? They spread across the continent as far as the east is from the west.
