While Mike and Pam, along with the younger of their ten children, live in a remote village that does not keep them from being active throughout the country. Mike founded and published the international home school magazine, El Hogar Educador.
They have also promoted the family and homeschooling through family conferences-twelve in 2014.
When the violence began increasing in Mexico, God began to put the soldiers and residence in the “war-torn” areas on the heart of Mike and his family. He began making regular trips into these areas to reach, encourage and teach the people about Jesus.
Since all of their outreach efforts have one thing in common, families, a natural outgrowth of their church, conference, and evangelism activities was to build a “family camp“—a place where fathers could bring their families to get away from the cramped, violent city life and spend time together as a family.
The first parcel of land was purchased and is now under development. The family camp, like the conferences and magazine, are available to Mexican families free of charge. It gives families a peaceful environment to bring their families, relax, and learn more about the Lord.
The publishing, seminar work, as well as the family camp continue to grow. Through its diverse outreach methods, VNMinistries is reaching well over 11,000 families a month.
God has given Mike and Pam the life-long vision of bringing peace—true peace—to the lives and hearts of men, women, and children in Mexico through the changing power of the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

Mike, along with his children have traveled throughout Mexico this year preaching the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Many more conferences are already scheduled for the coming year.
In addition to the monthly conferences, El Hogar Educador, VNMinistries and the Richardsons have hosted four family camps.
Mike has negotiated and prayed about the buying three more tracks of land for over seven years.
One trusted Mexican advisor said, “I believe the Lord has been making changes in your ministry to make it more broader and more effective. The possibility of buying these large tracts of land appear to be part of God’s plan. Let’s pray and believe that resources come to take this step.”
Another one of Mike’s Mexican advisors told him, “Do not buy just one of those lots. You need to buy both of them!”
As of today we $47,000 dollars to purchase the remaining property. That means that in the last few weeks God has provided $23,000!
Would you take a moment and ask God if he would have you give a special one-time gift for the camp or if he would have you begin making a recurring donation. If the answer to either or both of these questions is yes then click here and select family camp to make your one-time or recurring donation for the family camp.
If God directs you to support any other aspect of VNMinistries click here to make your one-time or recurring gift in the area of your choice.
If you live in Mexico and would prefer a bank transfer the information is as follows.
